v0.2 Rough Timeline & Post-Release Announcements

Hey everyone! The support the last few days has been CRAZY – we’re so deeply appreciative of everyone who downloaded, played, and reviewed Promises to Keep. As promised, we’d like to provide you with a rough timeline of PTK updates. Please take a look!

Patreon Discord Server Integration & Setup: January 22nd

Patreon Art Reward Correspondence (we’ll reach out to you!): early February

Patreon Ask-Me-Anything (AMA): early February

PTK v0.1 Android Version Release (Public): mid-late February

New PTK v0.2 Update Release (Patreon-only): early-mid March

PTK v0.2 Update Release (Public): late March

Please note that most of these dates are ranges/estimates, but we will make good on honoring all Patreon rewards in a timely manner!  Sometime in mid-February, we’ll provide an exact release date for the next visual novel update (currently listed above as early-mid March), after gauging our progress from now until then.

With our transition from the release to development stage of our project, we’ll also be phasing out the free membership option on Patreon. We will still be making public posts containing timeline details and other pertinent game information (accessible to everyone, paid or not), so you won’t need to be a paying member to follow our game. However, if you’d like to support us further, consider joining our $1 tip jar, which comes with exclusive Discord access (and our undying appreciation)!

As you may have noticed from the schedule, we will be staggering our releases starting with v0.2, so Patreon subscribers ($5+) will be receiving updates about 2-3 weeks earlier than the public. From v0.3 onwards, we’ll be staggering updates by one full “cycle”, meaning that v0.3 will go on Patreon only (around May), and the public will be getting v0.3 when we push v0.4 out on Patreon (somewhere in June or July) – with this update schedule, we hope to continue building our public audience, while encouraging/incentivizing individuals to support us on Patreon, who have the means to!

Phew, if you’ve made this far, thank you for reading! Please feel free to poke us with any questions or concerns in the comments – and if you’ve had the chance to play the PTK pilot, please consider giving us a rating/review on Itch.io and checking out our Patreon, where we’ll start rolling out first-month rewards shortly. Thank you again, everyone!
