Ollie openly states he's 26. The protagonist answers that that's only 1 year older than him (so protagonist age is 25) Rofi went to school with the protagonist, so the assumption of them being the same age is easy to make. Artemis makes a point to say Theo is 30-something, and at some point I believe the protagonist even says Theo is around 10 years older (I remember reading that, but I can't be bothered to re-find it to check whether it's around 10 or exactly 10), so let's say Theo is 35. While Artemis and Ollie met while Ollie was a junior, and Artemis only spent 1 year at college, we can't actually be certain of his age as Artemis is the only character that strikes me as "would take a gap year before going to college" kind of person. Maybe more than a year? All I know is that everyone except Theo is younger than 30. Hunter got tutoring from Rofi during Rofi's final year at college, but I actually don't know how to use that for calculating purposes. Sounds to me like Rofi was already finishing college while Hunter was just starting, but I don't know how long did Rofi's biology major take. Hunter also doesn't strike me as a gap year kind of person, but I don't know much. Using the in-game given info of Theo turning 17 in 2005, the earliest year the numbers make sense would be 2023 as the year the game takes place in.
Playing this game feels like how it must feel to go into Theo's home. Being warmed by the inviting hearth, feeling the heart thaw, and discovering the powerful feelings as the emerge. An instant classic. Funny, sentimental, beautiful. So comforting, but not afraid to touch upon difficult subject matter. I can't wait to find out what happens next and continue exploring the different character paths!
I am glad I've finally made an account on this website. I've been a big fan of Furry visual novels for a few years now, but that was through YouTube. Now, I've finally taken the time to deeply allow the immersion to flow genuinely, I appreciate the experience even more then I already have.
However, that being said. Promises to keep is truly on another level entirely of it's own. The visual style, the setting, the diverse fun colorful cast, the genuinely inspiring theams of hope, friendship and optimism are heartwarming yet well-written. The fact that this all takes place during my favorite season, Winter is what really sold me from the beginning. I discovered it during January I believe 2 years back, I was with my brother during an awful snowstorm. Negative 2, freezing. This wonderful visual novel kept me happy after getting laid off and kept me smiling through it all.
I was ecstatic to recently discover it was available on Android and for FREE! I'm happy to say, Promises to keep was my first download without question. Sorry for my long-winded feedback, but I truly love this story. Promises to keep truly is a lovely experience. And I'm very thankful that I've finally been able to view and experience it first hand. Without a dought, truly my favorite Visual Novel of all time. <3

This is an exceptional VN, I adore it. The whole cast is fantastic, but Theo is just so precious. Poor troubled boy. All of them having such interesting, unique traumas is very cool. I can't wait for more, huge props to everyone working on it, can't wait for more!

With every update I face a dilemma, whether to rush through the previous days and get to know the lore asap or to savour it and make the new update last as long as possible. I always end up choosing the second choice, though. It's just too good to skip through the past days. My beloved Theo... Goated update as always :)
0.8 was amazing. but a bit shorter than rofis day 4. it feels like that for everything theo. i wish i could contribute once to like something because i simply cant pay on a monthly basis so if your team could set up anything like a paypal that would be appreciated :3
